When I think about a dream date, I picture something out of the ordinary. It's not a dinner and a movie or anything typical like that like. It is something creative, unique, and surprising, particularly something that "he" thought up himself without my input. Making a meal together, creating a time capsule, a road trip somewhere neither of us have been.

Kirsten has the right idea. I miss those dates as it is a little harder for me and Mrs. Shife to be as spontaneous now that we have a little man running around but we still try to have a date night at least once a month. It is awesome having relatives in town because they make the best babysitters. I also wanted to thank you for the poem you shared on my blog. I never read it before but it was beautiful. Take care.
